The following parameters can be controlled from this tab.
Password expiry period - system will send a reminder to change the password after this period, the employee will have an option to retain existing password.
Password snooze period - if employee does not change the password then after this period another reminder will come. Employee can again chose to retain existing password.
Session timeout after xx minutes - this is an important parameter, if the user is not working on the software for the minutes specified here the system will automatically log him out. Maximum value for timeout is 40 minutes.
Note : these three parameters are not applicable in the mobile application. There is no session timeout and no forced password change in mobile app.
Validation of Company Email Domain
If you want to control that all the employees of your company who are using EazeWork HRMS should link their EazeWork HRMS account only with their official email ids then you
will need to follow the steps laid out below -
1. Add your company email domain using the "Add Domain" button.
2. Select the method you want to use for domain validation
a) TXT Record Entry : You will need to get the TXT record updated in the DNS entry of your domain which you are trying to get verified. Once you have it updated only then click on "Validate" button.
b) HTML file updation : if you choose this option then you will need to download an HTML file and get it updated in the root folder of you website which is using the domain which you are trying to validate. Click on Validate only after you have update the HTML file.
You can always add the domain and validate it later as shown below.
You will be able to enable the "Company email domain whitelisting" parameter only after you have at-least one validated domain.
Once you enable the email domain whitelisting feature then all the users can
be added only with the validated domain.
