Change of Assessor or Reviewer
Menu Path : Performance > Manage Cycles
Accessibility to : Performance ManagerTo manage mapping of Assessor / Reviewers for employees click on "Template Mapping"
button on the relevant performance cycle.
Due to role changes, department or manager transfer sometimes there is a requirement
to change the assessor or reviewer mapped to an employee in the middle of the
cycle. The initial mapping of assessor / reviewer is done based on the role selected
in the plan setup which can be updated by the Performance Manager manually as
shown in the image below -

The assessor / reviewer can be manually changed by the Performance Manager any
time during the cycle as long as the process is not released and the control
is with the Performance Manager. You can also
If the role of assessor is given to manager in the setup and the employee's manager
is changed in HRIS then the new manager will not be mapped as the
assessor for the employee unless the Performance Manger goes and updated the
assessor name.
If the assessor resigns then the role of assessor will move to the (new) manager
irrespective of the fact that the assessor was manually mapped or based on setup.
If manager has not been mapped then system will show Application Administrator
as the assessor.
