Quick Access : Payroll > Payroll Declarations > Children tab
Accessible to : Regular Employees included in Payroll
In this tab the number of children can be declared.
Number of children : this is used if the employee salary structure contains the Children Education and Hostel Allowance and the rebate is given to the number of children indicated here up to a max of 2 children.
Children's education allowance exemption of Rs. 100 per month per child and hostel allowance exemption of Rs. 300 per month per child maximum of two children.
Exemption amount against these heads would be based on monthly basis. If date
of joining is in middle of a month even then exemption would be for whole month.
