Editing a released job opening

Menu Path : Recruitment >Openings
Accessible to : Recruitment Manager / Recruiter (as per Setup)

Recruiters assigned to the opening or Recruitment Manager can edit a released job opening and can change most of the details like -
a) Hiring Manager can be changed to any other existing hiring manager
b) Job opening parameters like Job Title, Opening Type, Level, Department, Division, Work Nature, Work Status can be changed
c) Target Fill Date can be changed but cannot be made earlier than today's date
d) Changes in Recruiters
- new recruiter can be added : an alert will go to the new recruiter
- existing recruiter can be removed : an alert will go to the recruiter who is being removed
d) Vacancy management -
- Number of vacancies in the job openings can be increased without any constraints
- Vacancies in the job openings can be reduced but only to a number which does not conflict with the offers already rolled out
- If partial hiring has been done then the number of openings reduced appropriately then on submission the JO will be closed
e) If opening was made visible on career page it can be hidden or vice versa
f) Employee referrals
- If the opening was not selected for employee referral or released to agencies in the first release it can be modified by editing. Alerts will be send to the employees and / or agencies only the first time when the selection is made
- Last date for employee referral can be extended but alert will not go automatically to employees, you will have to send the alert manually, see the section below
g) Release to placement agencies
- if opening was not sent to agencies then it can be done now
- Last date for agency referral changed but cannot be made earlier than today's date
- Stopping agencies from submitting resumes - click on "On Hold" button - this will prevent agencies from submitting any more profiles. You can revert this action later if you need by clicking on "Restart"


Whenever changes are made an alert is sent to the recruiter(s) informing them that changes have been made in the opening. Similarly if changes are made then the agency is also informed through an alert of the changes. Some fields are not shown to the recruiter or agency and changes in them is not communicated.

All the changes made to a job opening after releasing the job opening are shown on the bottom of the page as update.

Employee Type cannot be changed for a Released job opening.

Re sending employee referral emails 

If the last date for employee referral is in future than Recruitment Manager or Recruiters can resend the referral alert email to all the employees by using the "Resend Referral Email" option as shown below.


Remapping Backfill Employees

If the resignation of the employee who was mapped for back-filling a job opening is withdrawn an alert will come to the Recruitment Manager informing him of the same. If the Recruitment Manager wants to, he can replace this employee with another one by editing the job opening. Make sure that in the popup where the separated employees are mapped the checkbox against the withdrawn record should be deselected.
