Including Weekly Off / Holidays with leave

If you want to create a condition that if employees are taking leaves on both sides of weekly off or compulsory holiday then in the leave setup enable the parameters "Holiday Counted" and "Weekly Off Counted". It is explained with an example below.

Example
- Saturday and Sunday are weekly off.
- 9/Jul/2022 and 10/Jul/2022 are weekly off.

Employee has submitted a Casual Leave for 8/Jul/2022

If you want to put a condition that if he is taking a leave on 11/Jul then both 9th and 10th July should also be counted as leaves then you will need to enable the "Weekly Off Counted" parameter.

Similar scenario will be applicable for a compulsory holiday.

If you want to further allow employees to take partial day leaves on either sides of a weekly off / compulsory holiday but do not want to allow them to take full day leaves then you can enable the parameter "Allow partial day leave before / after weekly off / holiday".

Note - the above mentioned parameters will work only when both the leave requests on either side of weekly off / restricted holiday have these parameters enabled. For example, if I take Casual leave on Friday and then take Earn leave on Monday and in Casual leave the weekly off parameter is not selected then system will allow me to take Earn leave without including weekly off even if the parameter is selected in Earn leave.
