Menu Path: Quick Access > Attendance & Leave > Leave Request
Accessible: As per Setup

On this page can fill up details like name, type of leave, start date of the leave & end date of the leave and can submit the request. Based on the initiation and approval workflow a leave request can be raised by multiple people, various options are -

• Employee creates for himself
• Manager creates himself and for his team
• HR Manager creates for all the employees assigned to him

Approval can be single or multiple step as per company policy. If leave balance is becoming negative then there might be an exceptional approval needed.

If you are not sure of your entries you can save the request by clicking on "Save As Draft" with this your request will get saved but not submitted and once you are sure of your entries you can click on "Submit". On submission the request will go to your Manager (or the designated approver) for approval.

You can add an attachment with the leave request as shown in above image. Option of attachment will be show if attachment option is enable in the leave setup.

Draft Leave tab lets you see any draft requests which you have saved earlier for editing & submission or deletion.

Only one leave request is allowed between two dates, if a leave request is already in process or approved status then a new request will not be allowed.

You can create multiple requests as long as they are of different leave types and for different dates. If you don’t have a pending leave request and are not able to create a new one get in touch with your Application Administrator.

All the leave types which are applicable to you as per your Company’s policy are available to you. Once you submit the leave request the system does an immediate check on validity and if the leave request is more than available leave balance then the request is submitted as an exception (if allowed by your company).

Restricted Holiday Leave

To apply for a Restricted Holiday you have to apply like a regular leave but instead of giving a start and end date of the leave you have to select the holiday from the list of Restricted Holidays.


Note - This is an optional feature and might not be activated for your company.
