Quick Access : HR Manager > Make Announcement
Accessible to: CHR / HR Manager / HR Executive as per Setup
Using this feature HR Managers can created and broadcast announcements to employees.
These announcements are visible on the dashboard on the top of the page for the
duration defined while releasing. If employees have downloaded and are logged
on to their mobile app then the announcement is also visible to them on their
mobile application dashboard.
Creating an Announcement
Click
on "Create Announcement" button to create a new announcement.
Steps to be followed -
- Enter the Announcement subject - this subject is not visible on the announcement
but is for your reference
- You can also send the announcement as an email; select the check box - Send
Email. An email will be sent to all the employees who are eligible to receive
the announcement, on the morning of the start date of announcement
- Announcements can be created as Text or and Image. Image based announcements
will allow for an upload of an image
- In text based announcements hyperlinks can be inserted in the message by using
this syntax $#<Enter the text to be displayed> #<Enter the url>#$.
Writing http://www in the url is optional.
- In the Release to section you can specify to whom the announcement will be
visible, you can define an eligibility criteria or pick from a list or send to
all
- Submitted announcements can be edited or deleted only if the "To Date" is in
future
Editing an Announcement
The
following changes can be made to an announcement after submission.
1. If the Start date is in future then everything in the announcement can be
changed.
2. But if the announcement has been released then only the End date can be changed
if it is for today or future
After the announcement is closed it can be hidden.
Note: Even if there are multiple HR Managers or HR Executives then the announcements
will be sent to the employees as defined in "Release to" section of the announcement.
