This report shows day's status of attendance and provides metrics in comparison with the shift timings.
This reports shows late coming, hours worked, hours worked within shift, early leaving, shortfall. Refer to the article on Understanding Attendance Metrics for more details on how these metrics are calculated.
This report can be generated for all the employees together but can be generated
for maximum period of one month at a time. If you generate it for one employee then it can be generated for a quarter.

Details of key columns are -
1. Shift Start Time: Start time of the shift
2. Shift End Time: End time of the shift
3. Effective Start Time: Corrected shift start which will be considered for calculating attendance metrics (this is applicable only if employee is present for partial day)
4. Effective End Time: Corrected shift start which will be considered for calculating attendance metrics (this is applicable only if employee is present for partial day)
5. In-Time: In-Time from attendance data will show, if attendance has been updated
by HR Manager or Manager through bulk update then shift start time is shown here
6. Out-Time: Out-Time from attendance will show, if attendance has been updated
by HR Manager or Manager through bulk update then shift end time is shown here
7. Actual Breaks: Total duration of breaks taken in the day
8. Breaks Interval: Break start and Break end time for individual breaks is shown,
if there are multiple breaks then records are separated by a comma
9. Hours Worked: Difference of Out-Time and In-Time including break hours
10. Actual Hours Worked: Difference of Out-Time and In-Time excluding break

11. Shift Hours Worked: Duration of hours worked which fall within the Effective Start Time and Effective End Time
12. Actual Shift Hours Worked: Duration of hours worked which fall within the Effective Start Time and Effective End Time excluding breaks which fall within the Effective Start Time and Effective End Time
13. Effective Shortfall: effective shortfall is calculated as
follows - If employee works less then his effective shift hours then it will count
as shortfall, "Effective Shortfall = Effective Total Hours - Actual Hours Worked"
14. Effective Early Coming: if employee comes in early then, "Effective Early Coming = Effective Start Time - In Time".
15. Effective Late Coming: if employee comes late then, "Effective Late Coming = In Time - Effective Start Time"
16. Effective Early Leaving: if employee leaves early then, "Effective Early Leaving = Effective End Time - Out Time"
17. Time Modification: If In or Out time has been modified through a time modification
request then it will show as Yes else No
18. Method Used: In this column we are showing that attendance has been marked
for which method. Details are -
- Updated by System - If attendance method is Auto
- Updated by <Manager Name> - If attendance is marked by Manager
from Leave > Approve Attendance page
- Updated by <HR Manager Name> - If attendance is marked by HR Manager
from Hr Mgr > Attendance Reg page or though bulk excel upload
- Backdated Request - If attendance is marked through backdated request
- Mobile - If attendance is marked through mobile
- Web - If attendance is marked through browser
- Biometric / Access Card - If attendance is marked through biometric
