Search Functionality

The feature to search EazeHR database is available to all users. To use this feature click on the search icon on the top menu bar as shown below.


You can search in -
1. HR Data : this covers all the data visible on the employee's My Profile page
2. Transactions : as of now this option covers the following transactional records
a) Leave records : All leaves including Compensatory Off, Maternity Leaves
b) Attendance records : Back dated attendance requests, Time modification requests, Tour requests, Work From Home requests
c) Documents : Documents uploaded in Reference Documents and Other Documents section can be searched through this option

Search Syntax : The search function will search on the complete string, for example if you enter "Delhi Office" (with or without quotes does not matter) the system will show all results where the full string "Delhi Office" is found.
From the results table you can click on the hyperlinked results to open the parent record.

Search permissions : when you search the database what you see is linked to your role and also to the permissions enabled by your Administrator. As a thumb-rule if you can see the records in EazeHR then you will be able to search for them.

Employee Record Search : Only HR team can search against resigned employee records. To do so click on the dropdown next to "Active" on the left of search bar and select "Resigned". Employees whose onboarding has not been completed will not come in search.

Leave, Tour, Attendance Search :
1. Manager can see records for their direct reportees (through a parameter this can be modified in future)
2. Initiators, Approver can see records for which they are initiators or approvers (including resigned employees)
3. HR Manager / HR Executive / CHR can see records for all employees mapped to him
4. Resigned employee records will not be visible to Managers but they will be visible to Initiator / Approver
5. Employee can see their own records
