Separation due to retirement
Separation requests for retirement can be initiated by Manager, HR Manager or
CEO as per setup for the company. Select the type of separation as Retirement
and input the last working day and comment to initiate the separation request.

If retirement policy is activated then Retirement Age and Retirement Date fields
will be visible. Different rules can be implemented,
- Retirement date would be last working day of the month in which employee attains the retirement age
- Retirement date would be the date on which the employee attains the retirement age, for example if the retirement age is 58 years and date of birth is 11/Apr/1973 then last working day would be 10/Apr/2031
- For both the scenarios explained above last working day cannot be modified and retirement can be initiated only when less than 30 days are
remaining for retirement. You will get a reminder alert from the system when
30 days are remaining
- If retirement is based on the age but last working day is kept open then you would be able to create a request at any point of time and last working day can be modified
- If retirement policy feature is not activated then you can submit the retirement
request at any point of time
Separation due to death
Separation requests for death can be initiated by roles defined in setup. Select the type of separation as Death
and put the Date of Death, Last working day, Notice recovery option and comment
for initiate the separation request.

- Date of death can only be in past
- Last working date can not be greater than the date of death
- Relieving letter option is not available in this type of request
