Separation withdrawal

Menu Path : HRMS > Separation
Accessible to : Approvers as per setup

Separation requests can be withdrawn in two ways -

1. Employee can submit a resignation withdrawal request, resignation is automatically withdrawn if the withdrawal request is approved.
2. Approver can withdraw a separation when it is Submitted or Approved status without submission of a withdrawal request by the Employee

Approving Withdrawal Request

On Separation page in Withdrawals tab you will see the requests for withdrawing a resignation submitted by employees and pending for your approval.


The following activities can be done -
1. Approve the separation withdrawal request - on approval of separation withdrawal request, pending separation request will be automatically withdrawn
2. Reject the separation withdrawal request - on rejection of withdrawal request the linked separation request will remain as it is

Till the separation withdrawal request is in process the associated separation request will be shown in pink color (refer image below) and cannot be approved or withdrawn.

Direct Withdrawal of Submitted Request



To withdraw a submitted separation request click on the "Withdraw" button. You will have to record the reason of withdrawal.

Notes
Note :
1. Separation can withdrawn only if the separation if the following conditions are met
a) Full and final is in Pending status. If it is in any subsequent status like In-process, Finalized, Paid then please ask the Payroll Manager to reset the Full and Final
b) if separation has been closed by HR Manager then it cannot be withdrawn. Refer to the article on Closure of Separation Request on details of how a closed separation can be reverted
2. When the Separation request is withdrawn if the last working day is in past then the license which had been removed is added back again and accrual of leaves for the interim period is done
3. Changes in employee's last working day can be reviewed from HR Info Changes report
4. Separation can be withdrawn even when last working day has gone in past
