Updating missing approvers

During configuring the process flow in setup Application Administrator can design a workflow with multiple levels of approvers. For example for leave approval the process can be
- first approver = manager
- second approver = department head

If the current department head resigns then all the requests which are pending for the approval with department head will get stuck. Similarly there might be a scenario that the employee does not have any manager mapped to him. Updation of these missing mappings is to be done either by HR Manager (if the data is missing in Official Details) or by Application Administrator (if the mapping is not updated in setup).

All such requests which are stuck due to missing approvers are visible to HR Manager and Application Administrator (for their respective domains).

Menu : Work Area > Activities > Missing Approvers tab
Visible To : HR Manager, Application Administrator

On this tab all request stuck due to missing approvers are visible and you can update the mapping from here itself.


Once the mapping is updated the newly mapped approver get the alert and can see the pending task notifying him of the approval to be given.

- Separation submission and Separation Withdrawal

3. Attendance & Leave module
- Backdated Attendance Request or Backdated Attendance Withdrawal Request
- Grant Comp Off Request or Grant Comp Off Withdrawal Request
- Leave Request or Leave Withdrawal Request
- OD Request or OD Withdrawal Request
- Time Modification Request or Time Modification Withdrawal Request
- Tour Request or Tour Withdrawal Request
- WFH Request or WFH Withdrawal Request

4. Payroll module
- EMI Change Request India and Other Countries
- Loan Approval India and Other Countries
- Payroll / LTA Claims for India
- Salary Approval India and Other Countries

5. Advance & Expense module
- Advance request
- Expense claim request

6. Training module
- New Training Request

7. Recruitment module
- Job Opening
- Job Offer

8. Helpdesk
- Ticket submission

9. Timesheet
- Simple timesheet workflow where Approver = Manager
