Setting up field force management module is very easy. Only those employees who have been assigned a Field role from Manage Account > Manage Users tab will be able to use this module.

Time interval for background location service - for all employees who are assigned Field role the background location service will run at the frequency set here. The same parameter is also used for advanced location tracking in Attendance module and hence any change here will change the value for advanced location tracking also. Refer Attendance Setup article for more details.

Customer location creation rights - You can assign these rights to employees and / or managers. Customer location creation can be done from mobile or from browser.

Visit creation rights - You can assign the rights for creating a visit to employee and / or managers. Visits can also be created from mobile or from browser.
