Creating job openings against transfers

While creating a job opening the Hiring Managers can map an employee who has been transferred out of their department / division / company against the job opening. This feature can be activated from Recruitment Setup. The feature can be configured in two ways
1. A hiring manager can map any employee who has been transferred out of a Department / Division / Company, or
2. A hiring manager can only map employees who have been transferred out of Department / Division / Company mapped to the hiring manager. To put this condition the parameter "Job opening creation by Hiring Manager" should be mapped to "Own Department" / "Own Division" / "Own Company"

Key points to note in this feature are -
1. While creating a job opening the hiring manager will get an option to map "Opening Type" to "Transfers". Click on "Map Employees" button

2. The department will have to be selected and then a list of employees who have been transferred out from this department will be shown. From this list the employees against which this hiring is being done will have to be selected. The number of employees selected has to be the same as vacancies


3. The Opening Type and the Department mapped against the opening cannot be changed once the opening is released . The final offer against this opening will also have to be made for this department only
4. If an employee who has been transferred out of a department is mapped against a job opening and then his resignation is approved, in this case the employee's name will not come for "Backfill" since it is already mapped for a "Transfer" hiring 
5. If an employee who has been transferred out of a department is mapped against a job opening and then another transfer is done, in this case also the employee's name will not come for mapping for a new job opening with the new department. There will be warning shown and the previous job opening against which this employee was mapped will be shown on the page
6. If the vacancy in an opening is reduced and a mapped employee removed then that employee can be mapped with a new opening

A cut-off date can be updated in setup, only transfers and separations done after this cut-off date will come for mapping.

Managing list for department transfers

Recruitment Manager can manage the list of employees who will come for mapping against "Transfers". Click on "Manage Transferred Employees".


On the popup you can select the Department and "Disallow" employees which you do not want to mapped against job openings.
