A separation request can have one or more than one approvers. Approvers can be
  from Manager, HR Manager, Department, Division Head or CEO roles as defined in
  setup. If you are an approver and have received an email or dashboard alert you
  will need to do the following steps
 1. Use the menu path HRMS > Separation > "Separation Processing
  For Team" tab
 2. Select the role which you want to use from the role drop-down
You will see two sections on this page.
 1. Pending Separation requests - in this section all the separation requests
  are shown
 2. Pending Separation Withdrawal requests - in this section the withdrawal requests
  submitted by employee are shown
In this table you will see all pending separation requests and you can do the
  following activities -
 1. Approve a separation
 2. Withdraw a separation - refer to the article on - Separation Withdrawal
 3. Provide clearance to an approved separation - refer to the article on - Providing Clearances
The following activities can be done -
 1. Approve the separation withdrawal request - on approval of separation withdrawal
  request, pending separation request will be automatically withdrawn
 2. Reject the separation withdrawal request - on rejection of withdrawal request the linked separation request will remain as it is
If you have multiple roles then remember to select the appropriate role from the Select Role drop-down. Till the separation withdrawal request is in process the associated separation request will be locked and cannot be approved or withdrawn.
You will need to fill up the following details -
 - Approved Last Working Day: this is very important entry as the notice period
  shortfall is calculated and the system will automatically terminate the access
  for the employee on the midnight of last working day. By default system will
  suggest a last working day which on completion of notice period. In some cases
  you might not get an option to change the last working day, this would be due
  to the company policy
 - Rehire eligibility: this is stored for future reference so that when the employee
  applies again a decision can be made if he has to be hired or not, this is not
  visible to the employee
 - Type of Loss: another field to capture the nature of loss from company’s perspective,
  this is not visible to the employee
 - Notice Period Shortfall: this is automatically calculated based on the date
  of submission of resignation, notice period and the last working day. If notice
  period feature has not been enabled then this will not come. If enabled it will
  come only Resignations, it will not come for Management Initiated Separation,
  Death or Retirement
 - Notice Recovery: you have the option to recommend the shortfall in notice period
  which should be recovered. Full and final process will handle the notice period
  shortfall accordingly.
2. Click on the "Bulk Approval" button. All the selected records will be approved.
