EazeWork Feature Update - April 2024

Production Server Updation Date - 10 May 2024

1. HRIS
  1. Application Administrators can now control the time period for which employee's calendar mapping can be corrected in past. Refer article for more details
  2. Acceptance of policies and declarations by Employees and Candidates (in Recruitment module) can now be better managed with the help of versioning and consent management. You can activate this feature from HRIS Setup > Processes tab. When this feature is activated the declarations which are taken from employees and candidates are stored with the versions. Refer article on Recruitment Setup Overview and Onboarding Setup for details on how to create versions. Details of consent given by employees with the version of policy / document is available in Consent Status report.
  3. A new Activity Log report has been created and is available in Reports > Admin Reports. This report will provide log of activities done in the system. As of now it covers the following processes
    1. Salary creation, Salary revision, Loan request, Loan instalment modification
    2. Monthly payroll confirmation, Full and final confirmation
2. Expense Management
  1. Below mentioned points are available only on the browser app and will be available on the mobile app from version 2.7.4. Please get in touch with your Account Manager to get them activated
    1. Different workflows for Multiple company scenario are now available in Expense module. Refer to the article on Expense Process Overview - section 5 for more details
    2. When claiming a Travel expense you can now get the tour and company mapping based on the company selected when submitting the tour request if the company mapping option is enabled in tour module
  2. When claiming a periodic expense a date field has been added and the expense validity check with respect to date is being done with respect to the date inputted
  3. A new parameter has been added through which you can control if a tour request can be mapped to only one expense request or multiple requests
3. Tour Management
  1. For multiple company scenarios the option to map a tour request to a company is now available on the browser app, it will be available in the mobile app from version 2.7.4. Please get in touch with your Account Manager to get it activated.
4. India Payroll
  1. The option to get Payroll and Full and Final confirmation approval is now available. After the Payroll / Full and Final is complete it can be sent for approval to the designation approval who will get the appropriate alerts and can approve these requests from Work Area > Pending Approvals page. Subsequent activities can only be done after approval is received. Log of these approvals can be seen in the Activity Log report
  2. Payroll Executive role can now be made multiple but only in a multiple company scenario and the mapping of Payroll Executive role can only be done by Company
  3. When an employee is getting transferred from one group company to another the option to pay gratuity while doing the full and final is now available to the Payroll Manager
  4. Arrear amount for NPS will be calculated and credited to employee account in the month in which it is implemented in payroll
  5. Changes in Q4 24Q for 2023-24 as per new version released on TRACES
5. Recruitment
  1. The list of roles to which Offer letter email is sent can now be customized from Alert Setup and the popup which used to come for sending Offer letter in cc to the Recruiter has been removed as Recruiter role can be added in alert setup.
6. Other points
  1. Performance Improvement Plan can now be initiated by HR Executive role also
  2. Access of EazeWork Help Center is now based on an invitation which is sent to new joiners as soon as they are updated as joined. For existing users the invitation is sent to them when they try to access the Help Center for the first time.
  3. Core team members of Paid Edition accounts will have the access to chat with EazeWork Support from their login on the browser. The can also raise a ticket which will be responded to by our support team.
  4. Status column added to Biometric synch service status which is visible on dashboard. It will show the status as Inactive if the last synch was more than 60 minutes ago and system will also send an alert to the Application Administrator
  5. Report changes
    1. HR Dashboard report can now be reviewed for Annual period also
    2. Pending Timesheet report - submission and approval times have been added
