EazeWork Feature Update - January and February 2024

Production Server Updation Date - 16 Feb 2024

1. HRIS module
  1. Fields or records which are updated by employees in Profile page or during Onboarding process so far had only two options, "Optional" or "Mandatory". In this update we have added a third option "If Available". For example you can configure PAN as a "If Available" field, the way it would work is that if it is included during onboarding and if the employee declares that he does not have a PAN then he will not have to update it. Refer article for more details.
  2. An "If Available" field if subsequently updated by employee or HR on profile page will become mandatory and can by changed but cannot be deleted
  3. An "If Available" row if subsequently updated by employee or HR on profile page can by changed or deleted, the change / deletion done by employee can be sent for approval to HR
  4. Shifts can be changed from a back date, now Application Administrator can control the period for which shifts can be changed, this period can be updated in Shift setup
2. Onboarding module
  1. There has a complete revamp of the onboarding process. The new process has the following additional features
    - you can now create different onboarding forms for different types of employees
    - fields which are included in onboarding process will have the mandatory, optional, mandatory if available setting based on what is defined in HRIS setup
    - employees will be able to proceed with onboarding even if they do not have some critical information like PAN, UAN, provided they declare that they have not been issued these documents
    - the onboarding email can be triggered to the employee directly when his record is transferred from Recruitment

3. India Payroll
  1. National Pension Scheme (NPS) employer contribution can be now modeled as a CTC component of salary. Refer article for more details
  2. The option to download attachments uploaded by employees Tax Saving Submission, Taxfree heads Verification and Other Income can now be downloaded singly or in bulk from Payroll Reports > Employee Reports
  3. Adhoc payment heads created and mapped to u/s 10 have been remapped to u/s 17(1) - this has not impact on tax calculation and has been done to correct the 24Q reporting
4. Other Country Payroll
  1.  Option to make a payment to employee after his Full and Final has been done is now available in payroll for all countries
5. Performance Management
  1. Performance Manager will now have the option to sent the performance sheet back to Employees / Assessors / Reviewers directly for a given time frame
6. Recruitment
  1. Bulk interview scheduling option is now available. Refer article for more details
7. Expense
  1. Upload of supporting documents can be made compulsory at an expense head level. Employee will not be able to submit an expense claim without uploading a supporting if it is made compulsory
