There are four sections in payroll setup

2. Salary Heads

In this section heads for salary, deduction, loan expense and adhoc payouts can be configured. Refer to the article on Components of Salary Structure for more details on how these heads are used.

4. Manage Alerts

In this section you can select or deselect the alerts which are to be sent to employees.
