Manager or HR team can initiate the Intercompany Transfer through a separation process. Please refer to the document on "Managing Intercompany Transfer" f you are new to this process to understand if you want to use the separation option or want to opt for the simpler option.
To process an Intercompany Transfer through separation.
1. Initiator can raise a request for ICT through separation by clicking on "Create Separation Request" button, selecting the employee name and then selecting Type of Separation as "Intercompany Transfer"
2. The request will go for approval as per the defined approval workflow.
3. After the request is approved by approver(s) it will come to HR Manager as
Clearance approver. The HR Manager will select the name of the new company from
drop-down, User id will be same which was in previous company
4. After the new company is mapped by the HR Manager employee’s record is shown
on HR Mgr > Employee Details page on Employees Pending for Updation grid to
the HR Manager(s) of the new company. Payroll details and other details of the
new company will have to be created like a new joiner
5. Transfer letter can be generated by HR Manager - refer article on "Relieving letter generation" for more details
Note:
1. When employee is transferred to a new company then some of his HR master data
would be copied from previous profile. Records which will be copied are -
- Personal Details - Personal, Address, Additional and Family details
- Official Details - all information except Office location, Work location
- Education & Work Experience - Education, Work Experience, Reference documents
2. Data related to any other module like - Attendance / Leave / Payroll (payslips),
Training, Surveys, Performance records will not be carried forward from one company
to another
3. Appointment letter can be generated in the new company
