Resource Managers are responsible for managing the categorization of resources who are a part of the pool which work on projects. If multiple Resource Managers are needed then you can assign this role to multiple employees, all will have access to all the data since this is a parallel role.

Managing Resources

As shown in the image above, resource management entails the following activities -
1. Mapping the category, sub category, sub-sub category of the employee - this is done by selecting the values in the drop down for a record which has not been mapped. But if the category or sub category has been mapped once then changes can be done by clicking on the "View" button.

To change the category or sub category of an employee follow these steps
- click on Edit on the row where current category / sub category is mapped and update the To Date
- click on Save to save this record
- update the new category / sub category in the last row and save the row
- you can delete any record by using the delete option on the action buttons
- close the popup by clicking on Close button

Note - If you want to get some Categories / Sub Category / Sub Sub Category added then please get in touch with your Application Administrator.

 2. Reviewing deployment status - by clicking on the Current Deployment figure which is shown in light blue color you can access the details of deployment for any employee. As shown below an employee can be deployed more than 100% across multiple projects also.

Roll off data can also be obtained from Reports > Timesheet > Roll off plan.

3. Searching for records - you can search for specific records by using the Search bar on the top. You can search across multiple fields or specify a field like Name, Category from the drop down. To see all records click on "Reset"
