EazeWork Feature Update - March 2025
Production Server Updation Date - 31 March 2025
1. HRIS module
- The expiry alert which is sent on expiry of validity of Reference documents can be customized, refer article on HRIS Setup for more details
- When employee are transferred from one company to another using simple inter company transfer process so far the tax saving declaration and submission data was not being copied from one company to another, this gap has been closed and now the tax saving data will be visible for the employee in the new company
- An option to add watermarks in generated documents has been added. Refer article on Managing System Documents for more details
- Probation data can be exported in an excel from. Refer article on Probation Status Report for more details
- Birthday and Anniversary notification widgets on browser have been modified to show the records with pagination
2. Attendance and Leave module
- A new parameter has been added in leave setup for all leaves except Maternity Group leaves and Leave Without Pay which will allow the Administrator to prevent submission of a leave request by a new joiner till he/she has completed the specified number of days in the company
- Warning letter creation rights can now be given to HR Executive or CHR also. Refer article on Attendance Setup for more details
3. India Payroll
- Changes in tax slabs for New Regime for 2025-26 and Marginal relief for employees having salary just above INR 12 lakhs have been incorporated. Refer to article on New Regime and Old Regime for more details
- In case of Simple Intercompany Transfer the tax saving details inputted in the first company was not being carried forward to the second company, now this gap has been closed and the details updated will be carried forward to the second company
- The option of taking 206AB declaration from Retainers / Consultant is being removed as the Government has now given the option to check if the employee is coming under section 206AA or 206AB. Refer the article on Tax Deductions under Section 206AA and 206AB for more details
- For employees who are getting mapped to section 206AA or 206AB the tax will be calculated on Total Income and no rebate due to slabs, 87A or marginal relief will be given. So far rebates due to points mentioned here were being applied
- Inputs which are updated and saved as draft while running payroll are now shown clearly on Run Payroll page
- Changes in Tax Work Sheet - refer Report - Tax Work Sheet for more details
- PAN Operative field has been added to show if any employee's PAN is updated as inoperative
- Tax Payable figure reported in column BZ (refer the attached excel in the article) has been modified to show tax net of cess and surcharge
- Marginal relief given on Cess will be shown in a separate column
4. Onboarding and Separation Module
- Separation approval workflow can now be configured by Level. This would have to have different level of approvals or different set of approvers depending upon the seniority of the employee. Refer the article on Separation Setup for more details
- Alternate Email added during onboarding will now have to be validated like the primary email is validated
- Separation Status report has been enhanced, the option to view withdrawn separation requests is also available in the report now. Refer article on Report - Separation Status for more details
5. Recruitment Module
- Reference documents and Other documents which are available in HRIS can now be configured and enabled in Candidate record also. Refer article on Recruitment Setup > Candidate Parameters for more details
- The option to save the offer request as draft is now available. This can be used by Recruiter to keep a draft and complete the offer request later
- Background verification request sent to a third party agency can be cancelled and reassigned. Refer article on Candidate Background Verification for more details
6. Overall
- Some
reports have a number of sub reports within them, for example Payroll > Salary Reports. In such reports
the option to manage access at sub report level by roles has been programmed. Refer article on Managing Reports for more details
- The alert which an employee gets when his resignation has been approved has been enhanced, specific activities which are pending and need to to be done are mentioned in it
