Managing account preferences

This page allows you to manage your account preferences.

1. Manage Credentials

From this tab you an update your username, password, email and mobile number.


Email updation - Click on "Update Email" button. Enter the email and click on "Send OTP" button.


You will get an OTP in your email. Enter the OTP in the popup. Your email will be updated and its status will be shown as "Active". If you are an Administrator of a Free Account you will not get the option to update your email.

Mailbox Status
If emails from support@eazework.com (the email address which is used to send out email notifications) are not reaching you, you can review the email status. The various status of emails which are visible here are
- Active : emails are going
- Bounced : emails are bouncing
- Complained : you have marked support@eazework.com as spam
- Inactive : no emails have gone to your mailbox in a long time
- If you have opted out of receiving email notifications from EazeWork then your email status would be "Email notifications disabled"
You can check the status of your mailbox as updated in EazeWork mailing system by clicking on "Check Status" button.
Note : if emails are being sent by your company's server (which happens sometimes) then here it will show always as "Not Available".
Mobile Number Updation
If your mobile number is not updated in the system you can click on "Update Number" button and update it. Refer to the article on  Mobile number validation for more details. 

You can delete and change the email or mobile number if the email or mobile number has not been validated. Once it is validated you can change it to a new email or mobile number.

2. System Settings


Clear Alerts automatically – this option helps you to control how long you want to see alerts on your dashboard.

Time zone – this is automatically assigned based upon your Work Location and cannot be changed, if Work Location is not activated then it is based on Office Location.

Number of active sessions - You can see how many active sessions are there. Click on "Details"


Click on "Logout" to logout from your mobile session.

3. Roles

In this tab you can view the roles you have been given but you cannot make any changes to this table. If you need any roles added or removed from your profile you should get in touch with the Application Administrator of your company.

Some roles are divided between multiple users, these are called "Multiple Roles". If you have been given a multiple role you can see the domain of the role. For example Accountant role shown above is a multiple role. Refer to the article on Roles in EazeWork HRMS for more details.


4. Alerts

From this tab you can do the following
1. Deactivate all email notifications : click on "Stop all email notifications from EazeWork". You can uncheck and restart the email notifications at any point of time. This will not stop the notifications which are sent to you on your mobile as a part of the mobile app notifications. This will also not stop emails where you are included in cc or bcc.

2. If Birthday / Anniversary feature has been activated in your company you can setup alerts which will inform you of marriage anniversary, birthdays and work anniversaries of your colleagues. If "All" is selected then the alerts for all colleagues will come, you can limit the scope of the employees for whom you want to see the alerts. The information of these anniversaries and birthdays will be shown on dashboard in a widget.

5. Delegation

If Assistant has been mapped for you on the Official Details section by the HR Manager then you would see this tab.


From here you can select the process you want to delegate and click on "Submit" button.


Once delegation is activated all the in-process and new requests will be forwarded to the Assistant. You can revoke this feature at any point of time by deselecting the checkbox and saving.
