EazeWork Feature Update - May 2024

Production Server Updation Date - 06 June 2024

1. HRIS and Onboarding
  1. For employees who are hired through Recruitment module the Recruiter name is now shown on HR Manager > Onboarding > Pending for Updation tab
  2. Statutory numbers have been made "Mandatory If Available" by default, this is being done for a smoother onboarding experience
  3. While updating a new joiner's record HR Manager can update two additional parameters "Included in PF" and "Included in ESI". These parameters are compulsory if payroll is outsourced. If any of these parameter is included in onboarding and employee updates that they do not have UAN number or ESI number during onboarding then the corresponding entry will be created in UAN Number Updation / ESI Number Updation pages with all the details as soon as the employee is updated as joined. 2. Attendance and Leave
  1. In single step compensatory off the feature to link the duration of compensatory off to the duration worked on the day is available. Application Administrator can define the time duration for giving full or partial day compensatory off. Refer article on Single Step Compensatory Off Setup for more details
  2. If a leave is withdrawn due to marking of attendance then on the leave request the comment "Leave withdrawal as status marked present by employee" will be shown on the leave request
  3. Past entry period defined in setup is now linked with the withdrawal period of Attendance Updation and Outdoor Duty requests. It was already linked for Tour, Work From Home, Leave requests 
  4. If a biometric integration has been done a synchronization service is run which pushes data from your biometric database to EazeWork servers. An option is given to Application Administrator to setup and alert which can be sent to a set of employees (the email IDs have to be active and validated in EazeWork). 3. Performance Management
  1. For employees who are getting transferred from one company to another using the simple ICT process the option to add them in performance cycles of their previous companies is now available
4. India Payroll
  1. Payroll for Trainees / Apprentices is now available. Companies which have activated Employee type = Trainee and are taking Apprentices as per the government scheme can use the payroll module to process their stipends. The option to rename the "Trainees" to "Apprentices" is also available.
5. Timesheet
  1. Administrators were so far able to control the maximum hours an employee can book on a working day while filling up the timesheet, now the feature to control either maximum or minimum hours has been made available. Refer to the article on Timesheet Setup for more details.
6. Other Changes
  1. Initiator and Approver remarks are now available in Offer details report
