EazeWork Feature Update - February and March 26
Production Server Updation Date - 31 March 2026
1. Overall
- Centralized approval of requests : a feature to allow a request to be approved centrally by HR Manager (for example) is now available. Through this requests which are pending for approval with various approvers can be approved by the central approver. Refer to the article on Understanding Approval Workflows for more details. Since this feature is in beta, please get in touch with your Account Manager to get this feature activated
- Work Area > Approvals page has been enhanced to show pending Approvals is a better manner
- Option to delegate Tour and Work From Home requests to Assistant has been added. Refer to the article on Managing Account Preferences for more details
- A new API EmpOfficialDetails has been added and fields have been added in EmpAttendance API. Refer EazeWork APIs for more details
- Style sheets have been changed to make the page loading faster and pages look lighter
2. Separations
- Design of Separation page from where separation records were accessed has been enhanced, records are now divided into three tabs - Approvals, Clearances, Withdrawals; showing relevant records and action buttons as per roles in each tab
- Option to make remarks compulsory for Initiator, Approvers, Clearance Approvers added in Separation Setup
- Bulk clearance approval : an option to provide clearance approval in bulk through bulk upload is now available. Refer article on Initiation / approval / clearance / closure of separation requests in bulk
3. HRIS
- Feedback feature has been enhanced. Option to "Archive" a feedback is now available with the HR Manager. Archived feedback will not be visible to anyone except the HR Manager. Refer article on Employee Management for more details
- Profile picture which is uploaded during onboarding or later on Profile page can now be sent for approval on change. Profile pic can also be made mandatory. This profile pic is also going to be used for comparing selfie taken during marking attendance through the mobile when selfie comparison feature is activated
4. Payroll
- Changes in Zambia payroll - NAPSA maximum limit for employee and employer increased to 1861.80 with effect from 1-Jan-2026
- Changes in Kenya payroll - NSSF maximum contribution limit increased to Ksh 6840 for both employee and employer
- India payroll - Statutory Bonus payment process has been enhanced. The rate for Statutory Bonus for a financial year will be taken only once (as the rate cannot vary across employees when they are being paid bonus through the payroll) and system will now allow to include employees with salary more than the statutory bonus limit to be also included in the payment of bonus if needed.
