EazeWork Feature Update - August and September 2025
Production Server Updation Date - 9th October 2025
1. HRIS
- HRMS > My Profile page has been redesigned. The landing page will have cards which can be used to navigate further into other sections, this is being done to improve the user experience. Refer to the article on HRMS Overview for more details
- Feature to E Sign documents / letters which are issued by Company to employees has been added. After E Signing the document employees can download the document with their signature. Refer to the article on Managing System Documents or E Signing for more details
- PDF files can now be viewed in a popup without downloading them. This functionality is being rolled out in all the processes where documents are available for download
2. Performance module
- Names of columns in the performance grid can be renamed in setup while creating a plan
- Option to add Peer and External Reviewers has been added in the performance setup. This feature can be enabled when a plan is being created. Refer article for more details. Refer articles on Creating Performance Plans and Role of Assessor / Reviewer during Performance Review for more details
- Performance sheet design has been modified to allow for easier readability
2. India Payroll module
- Salary Group feature has been modified, Miscellaneous group has been deactivated and the option to create Earning and Deduction groups has been provided in separate tables. The option to map these salary groups is now available in tabs where heads are created / activated. These groups can be used in creation of Salary Tables which are used to customize Salary Increment Letter, Salary tables in Appointment Letter or Offer Letter
- Arrear calculation in payroll - feature to also show arrears due to leave without pay with the arrears heads is available in setup. Refer article on Payroll Setup for more details
- Statutory deductions during Maternity group leaves - when an employee is on a leave which falls under the maternity group leaves and employee is included in ESI, then the wages for the leave period are received from the ESI department and not from the employer. This feature is already available. In this enhancement we are providing a feature to manage the statutory deductions during the maternity group leaves, if the company wants the PF / ESI / LWF employer and employee contributions to be deducted an deposited as per government norms even during the leave period it can now be done. - Negative salary transactions report which is available in Payroll > Salary Reports section has been enhanced. Refer Report - Negative Salary Transactions for more details
- Full and Final is processed as payroll and if employee's last working day was for example 30 June 2025 and if June payroll was already processed for the employee then Full and Final was so far being run as July payroll. Since number of days which are used for Leave Without Pay deductions, Notice Period recovery, Overtime payouts are linked to total number of days in the month, the system was considering 31 days in this scenario, now this has been corrected and system will consider 30 days. Refer to the article on Full and Final overview for an understanding of various scenarios under with full and final is processed.
3. Recruitment module
- The option to customize Offer Letter is now available. Refer to the article on Editing and Formatting Documents for more details
- Offer letter can be E Signed by the candidate, this creates a much stronger evidence of acceptance. Refer to the article on Offer Acceptance by Candidate for more details
- A new report - Consent Report has been created where details of consent provided by candidates during offer acceptance process can be seen.
