EazeWork Feature Update - September and October 2024

Production Server Updation Date - 07 November 2024

1. HRIS
  1. Employee's Health record and Language details can now be managed, it has been added as two new sections on the Profile page. The fields needed can be selected in Setup, included in Onboarding process and reviewed / modified from Profile page
  2. Weekly Off - the feature to map last Saturday (or any other week day) of the month as a weekly off is now available. You can now model weekly off patterns where you can have last occurance of the day as off
  3. There is now an option to deactivate the payment modes you do not want to use in your company from HR Setup > Sections and Fields tab
  4. Custom emails can be created and can be scheduled to be sent automatically based on events. Refer article on General Setup - Custom Emails for more details
  5. The feature to create a card which is sent out as birthday / anniversary greeting has been enhanced. Multiple custom images can be used with a customizable text. Refer article on Setting up Birthday and Anniversary Greetings for more details.
2. Project & Timesheet
  1. When Project Manager or Resource Manager is creating timesheet on behalf of employee the option to filter employee list by employment status has now been added
  2. If wrong From Date or To Date has been updated during assigning / removing an employee from the project it can now be edited and corrected. Refer article on Managing Project Deployments for more details
3. Onboarding and Separation
  1. Exit interview forms can now be scheduled to be sent automatically, you can chose to send them on Separation approval or on Last working day. Refer article on Separation Setup for more details
  2. Full system access email which is sent to a new joiner when he joins the company has been updated to give a link to demo videos and Help Center links based on the modules subscribed
4. Advance and Expense management
  1. A parameter "Show Category dropdown while filling up details" has been added in setup, if this is selected as No then Category dropdown will not come when we are filling up the expense form
  2. When you submit a Travel expense claim, on selection of tour id the tour details are shown on the form
  3. Custom fields which are used in Expense form can be made mandatory. Refer to the article Creating Custom Fields for more details
  4. Expense Details report has been enhanced, using the "Export All Details" option you can now export line item level details, refer Report Expense Claim Details for more details
5. India Payroll
  1. A new feature to create periodic payments or deductions which can be paid to the employee without including them in salary structure, as adhoc payment or deduction has been created. This feature can be used to make payments like Joining Bonus which is paid after certain months of joining or for making quarterly payments. Refer to the article on Adhoc Payouts and Deductions for more details. A new report has been added in Payroll > Salary Reports > Planned Payments and Deductions to show data created under this feature
  2. A new report has been made to allow Payroll Manager / Employees review the changes they have made through Flexible Benefit Declarations
  3. Kerala Professional Tax slabs changed withe effect from 1st Oct 2024
6. Admin and Asset
  1. Design of the module updated
  2. New report - Asset Request Details added, it will give details of all asset requests
  3. Changes in Assets Owned by Company, Assets Allocated to Employees and Pending Asset Requests report
7. Other Country Payroll
  2. Changes in Kenya payroll wef October 2024
a) NHIF Employee contribution removed 
b) New Contribution for Employee "SHIF" added
