EazeWork Feature Update - October and November 2025

1. HRIS
- Default E Signature added in Preferences section which will be used to sign all the documents by employees. The default E Signature can be modified if needed. Refer article on Managing Account Preferences for more details
- Letters which are generated by HR Manager from Official Details page or from HR Manager > Employee Management page through letter issue process can now be previewed before confirming and sending them to employees for acceptance / e signature
- Hierarchy has been added in employee Education Level setup, this can be used to decide which is the highest education level
2. Attendance module
- Feature to automatically deduct leave if employees are coming late to office or if they are not working the stipulated hours has been introduced. To understand the details of this new feature refer to the article on Attendance Policies
- You can set a limit to the number of Attendance Updation requests which can be submitted by an employee in a month. This parameter can be set in Attendance setup by Application Administrator
- You can now upload an attachment in the Attendance Updation request
- Attendance Shift details report has been enhanced, the method used for punching the In and Out times has been detailed to provide specific process details which has been used to update the punch
3. Overall
- Application Administrators will have the option to copy the system defined list of holidays for India when copying or creating a new calendar to setup calendars for next year. This will reduce the manual effort. The system holiday dates can be changed as needed. Refer article on Managing Calendars for more details.
- Alert customization to change the sending time of Late coming and Pending attendance alerts is now available. Refer document on Alert Setup for more details.
- EmpAttendance API has been added. Refer EazeWork APIs document for more details.
4. Onboarding and Separation
- During onboarding if an employee puts marital status as Married then updation of spouse details is made mandatory in the family details section
- A new option has been added in Background Verification - "Background
Check Unverified". If this option is used the employee or candidate can
still be taken forward for further processing
- Leave, Work from home, Tour, OD requests in submitted or approved status after the approved last working day will be withdrawn on approval of separation. On the request in the Remarks section the remarks "Request withdrawn due to separation approval" will be added. Refer article on Approval of Separation Request for more details.
