EazeWork Feature Update - December 25 and January 26

Production Server Updation Date - 2 February 2026

1. Overall
  1. Compulsory activities which need to be done can be shown on login and the user will have to finish these activities before he can proceed ahead. Refer article on HRIS Setup for more details. This feature is available on both browser and mobile app.
2. HRIS
  1. Probation period shown on probation form was showing the overall period including the extension, this has been changed and the probation form will only show the period which is linked to the period for which the form is being filled up
  2. Probation Status report for simple probation process has been updated to show status updation date
  3. Designation field can now be configured as a drop-down or as an open text field, refer article on Setting up Employee Details for more details
  4. In delegation feature earlier we were not able to change the Assistant mapping if any activity was pending with the Assistant. This constraint has been removed and now Assistant mapping can be changed or can be made empty
3. Attendance and Leave
  1. Attendance Updation details report - Date and time fields have been separated into two columns
  2. Leave encashment requests which have not been paid in payroll can be cancelled by HR Manager. Refer to the article on Managing Leave Encashment process for more details
  3. In and Out times updated through Attendance updation request will now be treated as a punch and will be shown in Attendance Log report. When backdated shift corrections are processed the In / Out times updated through Attendance updation request will be considered as punches
  4. Travel Desk has now the option to cancel ticket / hotel booking details updated by them in a tour request. Refer article for more details
4. Payroll
  1. Option to upload the list of employees for stopping payment can be updated in bulk. Refer article on Generating payment advices, stopping payments for more details
  2. Karnataka LWF - New rates are Employee Contribution 50/- and Employer Contribution 100/-. Total 150/- with effect from Dec-2025
  3. While calculating ESI contribution the wages which are to be used will also include an "Add Back" amount. Refer article on ESIC - India Payroll for more details. Add Back amount can be seen in Report - ESI Monthly Summary
  4. Method to calculate taxfree leave encashment amount being paid to employee during full and final has been enhanced and a factor or Cash Equivalent also included in calculations. Refer to the article on Leave Encashment Payout for more details
  5. Malawi payroll PAYE slabs updated
  6. Nigeria payroll calculations updated
  7. New reports 
    1. Leave Encashment Details - in this report details of leave encashment calculation including calculation of cash equivalent amount is given
    2. PF Employee Summary report
5. Onboarding and Separation
  1. In process leave encashment requests which are after the last working day will now be withdrawn on approval of separation
  2. Death relieving letter has been created, this letter can be issued to the employee's family in case of the unfortunate death of employee while in employment
  3. Separation bulk upload process has been enhanced
  4. Contract End Date, Work Nature, Work Status - these three fields can be added to the Separation form header in Separation setup and be made visible on the Separation form
6. Performance Management
  1. Feature to setup Groups, Criteria and Templates has been separated from Plan creation in Performance Setup. All the existing Groups, Criteria and Templates have been migrated to the new tab which is visible on Setup > Performance Setup > Templates tab. Refer article on Creating Criteria, Groups and Templates for more details
  2. The option of using company values in a performance plan has been streamlined and now company values can be used as a group within the template
  3. In a target based performance cycle the option to use non quantifiable criteria which will not have a target has been extended from just company values to any criteria
7. Recruitment
  1. A new report Candidate Consent Status has been created. This report shows the details of consent against policies given by the candidates.
