EazeWork Feature Update - November and December 2024

Production Server Updation Date - 07 January 2025

1. Overall
  1. Five new data sets have been created which can be used in API keys. Refer article on EazeWork APIs for more details
  2. Multi factor authentication has been added as a security feature. Refer to the article on Multi Factor Authentication for more details
  3. The option to activate / deactivate users and to change licenses from Non-Web to Web in bulk is now available. Refer to the article on Licenses in EazeWork and Manage Users for more details. Web licenses can be added to employees who do not have an email as long as they have an Indian mobile number. The validation link will be sent to them through a SMS but the validation and onboarding will have to done on a browser
  4. We have resolved an old issue in the letter / document generation code which was causing the text to overlap with the header logo / text from second page onwards. We have noticed that in some cases extra lines were added to the letter format to prevent overlapping. These lines are not needed now as the system will automatically move the text below the header.
2. HRIS
  1. A new section for capturing Professional Certification details has been added to the profile page. The fields in this section can be activated and made mandatory as per requirement from setup. Refer articles on Employee Profile Details and My Profile page for more details
  2. Location and Remuneration fields have been added to Work Experience section in HRIS > Profile section
  3. Option to upload a supporting document while updating Skill details in HRIS > Profile section has been added
  4. Sometimes same employee rejoins the company. A feature has been done to identify the re-joiners at the time of updating the record as joined. Re-joiners are identified based on Email ID, National ID and Statutory numbers like PAN, UAN, PRAN, NPR. Refer article on Update as Joined for more details
3. Recruitment
  1. Health records, Languages, Disability details, Professional certification and Custom fields can now be added to candidate record. Refer to the article on Creating Custom Fields and for more details
  2. The option to make the attachment compulsory when creating a new job opening is now available in Recruitment setup
  3. Professional Certifications and Languages added to the set of search criteria on Job opening and Map and Shortlist feature
  4. Joining bonus payout which will be paid to employee certain months after joining can be specified in the offer creation process. Joining bonus recovery if the joined candidate leaves before a certain number of months can also be configured. These details will automatically get transferred to payroll when the candidate is updated as an employee in HRIS. This feature is only available for companies using India payroll. Refer article for more details
  5. Details in Professional Certifications, Health record, Disability details and Languages sections updated in candidate record will be updated in the employee record when the candidate accepts the offer letter and the record is transferred to HRIS
4. Onboarding and Separation
  1. If an employee is being rehired then the HR team member who is updating the employee as joined will be informed of the previous instance of the employee's employment. Refer article for more details
  2. A new report has been created to show these rehire records - refer Rejoined Employees report for more details
  3. The option to add new employees without providing an email has been added. Records can be added as long as they have an Indian mobile number. The validation link will be sent to them through a SMS but the account validation and onboarding will have to done on a browser
  4. Professional Certifications has been added as a section during the onboarding process
  5. Rehire eligibility field which is needed to be filled up when employee separation is approved by approver has been made as null by default, this will have to be positively selected at the time of approving a separation by the approver
5. India Payroll
  1. The option to modify the instalment to zero for a limited period of months has been added in both perquisite and non perquisite loans, refer article on Managing Loans and Advances for more details
  2. The option to see salary revisions which were implemented and then deleted due to cancellation of confirmed payroll or finalized full and final has been added. These details can be seen in Salary Revision History report
6. Other Country Payroll
